He urged her not to do music just for pleasure or to aid in growing, but that she must take it seriously. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. In addition to Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. In response to her mother's suggestion that her children ought not to aim to become famous with her songwriting, but instead realize the importance of themselves and the impact they have on society. She started playing piano when she was six years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. It was not until she turned 14 when she shared her story with her parents. There was no way she could have imagined to be Aurora. She says she just likes writing songs. For her, the songs she creates are how she feels about everything.
